Ways To Wake Up With Energy

Energy: the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity.
Don't exercise before bed.
- It will only rouse your body.
Did you know that the off temperature is a natural cue for your body to fall asleep?
- With that being said make sure your room is cool. Sleeping with the ac on even a fan will help.
Try to wake up at the same time everyday even on the weekends.
- The biological process that drives your sleep wake cycle needs consistency in order to function correctly. Some people need 8 hrs of sleep while other may need more or less. But you must stick to a set time. This will allow your body to tell you when to sleep in order to receive your optimal amount of rest. The overall routine will get you to get the healthy sleep required to replenish your energy.
- This does not include hitting the snooze button.By hitting the snooze button you will end up actually waking up even more tired. The best way to avoid that would be to set your alarm somewhere you can not reach. Preferably on the opposite side of the room.
No Caffeine/Drinks
- Caffeine is a stimulant. It's made to keep you awake. Also, did you know that drinks suck as wine can knock you out but than wake you back up in the middle of the night? Not getting a proper's nights sleep can cause problems with waking up energized the next morning.
Eat A High-Protein Breakfast
- Did you know that protein in the morning turns into dopamine which helps energize you? Try to go easy on carbs and processed food with added sugar. This will help you feeling the morning less laggy.
- Ex: Eggs, beans, peas, meat, poultry, nuts, seeds, and seafood.
Exercise Every Morning
- The best time to exercise is when you first wake up. As hard as that may actually be for some of us it's actually been proven to be the most effective. This helps your body get use to reviving. Staying in a routine is important to help your energy and you attitude. You don't have to go lifting but even some physical activities such as stretching or yoga have show to be very effective in getting the brain and the body started for the day. A simple 5-20 minutes can show a huge difference as to no time at all.
Eat right, stay active and stay energized!
